So cool to document the progress artist Jackie Head, her team and group of volunteers are making on the 1,400 sq. ft. art installation on the fence leading up to the terminal at the Indianapolis International Airport. This project is so unbelievably large and every one of the tiny pieces has been meticulously planned.
Her design is inspired by childhood memories of the mid-century designs and motifs in the carpet and other parts of the old Indianapolis airport. After taking these shots and I got to join in with the volunteers and pop a few in myself!
